The logo inspiration came from the name itself. “Zio” is an Italian word inherited from the Venetians and although no longer used in everyday life of Corfu, it is part of a tradition that lives on the island’s memories.
Zio Bortolino is the trademark for a new locally produced ice cream in Corfu island from a family that has been in the food industry for many years.
The symbol of the brand depicts a cow wearing mafia style sunglasses, in a shape that reminds us of a churn, while the cow’s ears and the text that has been used here, stand for a handle.
